To start with cocktails, I enjoyed the TLC, which was a nicely balanced whiskey drink. Appetizers - baked brussels sprouts, which delivered crispiness and a cheesy bechamel that was done right. Plus the pork fried rice was actually the best I’ve had in my life. That’s a bold statement, but the game-changer is the use of Pork Belly in the rice, the flavors are beautiful, meat is perfect, and the snap peas add a great fresh element. Drooling just thinking about it. Main - Burger of the day cooked how we wanted, fig jam and goat cheese is a combo I know and love. Well done and good portions. Now to the only faults of the meal, The Roots Salad, which had undercooked sweet potato. The rest of the salad was well-crafted, I added on Pork Belly because... well just try it and you’ll see what I mean. Service - 10/10 thanks Jim Takeaways get the pork belly cocktails are beautiful experiment with their specials

Got the pork buns for appetizer, smoked turkey grinder for main entree and the smoke n flowers cocktail. My friend got the noodles with pork. All were great! No bad choice on the menu. Portions were huge, I didn’t have room for dessert so maybe next time I’ll try the peanut butter pie. Service was super responsive, quick, and friendly.

The place has a really cool interior and vibe. Every time I’m here I notice some different decor behind the bar or on the wall. I love that the bar seats have skateboards on the backs of them. The bar staff is always friendly and informative. I come in for my favorite cocktail, the track suit. Bourbon, aperol, yellow chartreuse, and lemon. The menu has a lot of gluten free options, and I even had the luxury of having GF onion rings this last visit. This place is one of my favorites.

I had a large group get together to celebrate my graduation here and it was perfect. The staff was amazing, accommodating, and gave great service. We were obsessed with the pork belly but everything was delicious! The place itself has a really laid back chill vibe with lots of graffiti and artwork scattered throughout and a spacious super cute outdoor area as well. Parking was really easy to find and it was just the perfect setting for this occasion all around. Even as my friend gave a toast they turned down the music for us, and that seems like such a small detail but those are the kinds of things that show the character of the people who work there. Thank you for your incredible service! This was our first time and I will definitely be back.
